For several of the families we serve, however, the start of the school year also brings financial challenges. The rising cost of basic school supplies and everyday essentials can make preparing for the new school year overwhelming. At the same time, schools are working hard to support students with limited resources.

When students return to school, they also return to the CISLA classroom—a place where they are welcomed, encouraged, and supported. For many students, a CISLA staff member is a trusted adult, a steady source of encouragement, and someone who helps every child feel seen, supported, and connected. The CISLA classroom is that safe space where students can build confidence, find belonging, and thrive.
